Information on Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Measures

Since the outbreak of covid-19 pandemic, our priority has always been to protect the health of our guests and our team.

At the very beginning of the epidemic, we reviewed our cleaning and hygiene routine and immediately carried out the necessary enhancements according to our emergency action plan. We did everything we could in order to protect our team and their loved ones, we improved our internal communication and provided information regularly to our stakeholders by a close follow-up of international publications about the pandemic. We maintained our communication with our guests online.

Legal Procedures and Recommendations from Public Authorities and Experts

We constantly follow up and implement the regulations and recommendations initiated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Ministry of Health as well as the expert opinions of relevant public authorities and scientists. All measures related to coronavirus are up to date.

 

Isolation Protocol

If you have tested positive for covid-19, if you have symptoms of it or if you are suspected to have covid-19 during your stay in our hotel, then you can continue to stay in the isolation room provided that you meet the following requirements in line with the criteria of the Safe Tourism Certificate initiated by Ministry of Culture and Tourism:

* In case of being diagnosed with covid-19 during the stay, our guest diagnosed with covid-19 should stay in the isolation room specified by the hotel management, should not get out of the room and should not let any visitors in the room.

*All family members including parents/guardians of the guest diagnosed with covid-19 or the guests who stay in the same room with the diagnosed guest should stay in isolation rooms and they will be held responsible in case of violation of the rules.

*Food & beverage and room cleaning service specified in the accomodation contracts will be provided for the guests who stay in the isolation rooms during the period specified in their accomodation contracts as long as they stay in the isolation rooms without leaving.

*If one of our guests is transferred to an isolation room in case he/she is diagnosed with covid-19, then the term of his/her acommodation contract may be extended; in this case, additional accomodation in the isolation room will be subject to additional charges.

 

External Audit

*At the very beginning of the pandemic, all areas in our hotel were disinfected with hydrogen peroxide silver-based disinfectant by an accredited company and this disinfection is carried out regularly ever since.

*In addition, special teams were organized only to carry out disinfection within our hotels. This specially equipped team has been cleaning the relevant areas with hydrogen peroxide on a daily basis.

Our Precautions for the Employees

*All our employees have regular check-ups in line with the official regulations.

*The content of our ongoing hygiene training sessions is updated in accordance with up-to-date rules and recommendations regarding covid-19 that are issued by relevant public authorities including the Ministry of Health.

*All our team members use masks and relevant protective equipment in accordance with the regulations of public authorities including Turkish Ministry of Health.

*There are sufficient disinfection stations in employee common areas and these areas have been rearranged according to the social distancing rules.

 

How to Check-In and Check-Out

*Check-in and check out procedures are in line with the protocols specified by Turkish Ministry of Health, necessary precautions are taken for the guests having relevant symptoms and they are recommended to go to the nearest healthcare institution.

*Social distancing measures have been taken in order to avoid crowding during check-in and check-out transactions, the layout of the relevant area has been rearranged accordingly.

*During check-in, all our guests are welcomed to fill in a questionnaire initiated by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism and written information covering practices and measures taken within the hotel is presented.

*Materials used by our guest during check-in and check-out transactions are disinfected after each use.

*After check-in, the luggage of our guests is delivered to the doorstep of their rooms in accordance with the relevant hygiene rules.

 

Common Areas

*We have been using the cleaning products of an internationally acclaimed manufacturer in our facilities.Thanks to the regular and detailed trainings provided by this company for our team, a thorough cleaning is carried out for the relevant areas through the use of optimum cleaning materials at their correct dosage.

*Seating arrangements in common areas and meeting rooms have been rearranged to reflect social distancing rules. Hand sanitisers are available in common areas.

*The capacity utilization of our elevators has been limited such that only one person can take the elevator at a time and relevant written notifications have been placed.

 

Guest Rooms

*In addition to the regular room cleaning services carried out according to the existing strict hygiene standards, all guest rooms are being disinfected with hydrogen peroxide following the room cleaning to make sure that proper hygiene is achieved.

*Staff working in room cleaning services will change his/her gloves, mask and cleaning cloth after cleaning each room.

*The maintenance of air conditioners are carried out regularly and their filters are disinfected with hydrogen peroxide.

*Apart from the regular cleaning, the materials and equipment to be used by guests in the room are disinfected before each use.

 

Food & Beverage Services

*Seating arrangements in restaurants have been rearranged in accordance with social distancing rules and necessary written notifications are in place.

*When necessary, service hours may be restricted into specified time intervals for any group of guests in order to avoid crowding.

*Tables and chairs are disinfected after the use of each guest.

*Salt, pepper, toothpick, sugar varieties and sauces are provided such that they are to be pre-packed and have one-time packaging.

*Cutlery is washed with detergents at the required temperature and is exclusively pre-packed for our guest.
